But if i can get Arma 2 to work like that there may still be some hope or just wishful thinking?

I Guess im hoping we can see some kind of increase before the launch? I know about the CPU limitations. Dont get me wrong i fully understand it is an ALPHA and everything it entails. I swear i read or heard from somwhere it was going to be more optimised then the previous ones. It starts at around mid 20s for me and when the shooting starts it can drop as low as 10 fps. I would say im set at around standerd even though it recomends me for high(i have turned AA and some draw distance down but textures are ugly on standerd worse then A2 probably). Now Arma 3 i just tryed the same thing ofcourse its a much newer game better graphics so i dont expect the same result from full settings. If i set the game to its default (Very High) im locked at 60 fps with vsync on. I Tested This with 5 groups of infantry on ether side of the airport shooting at each other. Thats even with visability at 10k still more then playable at these settings. Arma 2 I can pull 30+ fps and over with everything maxed out.
